CASA CREATIVA ARTISTS!

I love to mentor, encourage, and especially witness the inner artist awakening in each of my students. An acrylic artist primarily, I’ve taught a variety of art and craft for many years.   

Some of my students come with experience, while others are painting for the first time.  It’s very important to me, that each person is aware of their accomplishments and particularly, that they’ve found joy in their art!  

My classes have traditionally been $50 per student, and all supplies are included. I’ve recently changed the class fee; payment is now value-based and left to each student’s discretion.  What value did you receive?

I also offer other classes, by request.  In addition to acrylic painting, I teach paper arts, origami/paper folding, collage, block printing, mandala art, art cards, miniature books, vision board creation and more.  If you have a specific idea in mind, please ask.

A short summary of the most recent classes:

  • Fall 2024/25 “Painting by Heart” rawhide drum painting classes in Gold Canyon, at “My Sisters Cafe.”
  • Summer 2025 Painting classes, and more at “Casa Creativa”, my “Creative House” classroom, Florence
  • Winter 2026 Teaching beginning block printing and acrylic painting in my community.

ART IS FUN! It’s even more fun when you are surrounded by your own friends and/or family.  That’s why I decided to offer small group parties*. 

Group parties* can be booked for a minimum of 3, maximum 6 participants.

Your group can choose either a “painting” party, or a “craft” party.  Some examples of craft parties are paper arts, origami/paper folding, collage, block printing, mandala art, art cards, miniature books, vision board creation and more. 

Group “parties” can be girls, guys or even a couples night (day) out, birthday parties, and just because events!  Supplies are included, and there’s flexible scheduling.
